How We Made Our Environment Unsafe

We may not be destroying our environment on purpose, but our presence is having a negative effect on our environment.
Someone might ask,  how?
Do you know the current size of the human population? As of March 2016 , it was estimated at 7.4 billion, an all-time record high. The United Nations estimates it will further increase to 11.2 billion in the year 2100.The size would continue to increase exponentially because of discovered ways to cure some of the most common diseases... that threatens our lives.
With population boom, we would require more land, more water, more food, more oxygen, more of everything. Think about it.

Forests have almost disappeared because we needed to clear them to erect structures for shelter, transportation routes, agriculture, and as raw materials.
The world has already lost 80% of its forests and we’re continually losing them at a rate of 375 km2 per day!
What about Technology and Industrial activities?
What about ignorance and negligence ?
what about crisis ?
Although the list can go on and on, but technology and Industrial activities can be blamed too. People say they provide us with all the comfort we need. On a broad view, do they? Exploration and exploitation of resources cause environmental pollution and resource depletion. You can begin to name; Vehicle emissions, toxic waste, carbon emissions. They all emit toxins into our atmosphere, causing air pollution. These are all by-products of our inventions and ingenuity. This is what’s causing Global Warming.
AIR POLLUTION IS JUST ONE ASPECT OF POLLUTION.
We would reveal others with further updates.
Till then, know that we didn’t realize that the Earth’s supply was not infinite. It can be depleted, and that’s the state that it’s in right now.
We are using our natural resources faster than our planet can replenish them. Soon, we will have a shortage when the supply runs out.
This is just a summary.
Feel free to ask questions and answers would be provided. Contribute, share and stay connected for the next update.
